Summer is Almost Over
Well, I can't believe that summer is almost over. We have officially 7 days before school starts. My girls are super excited for school to start, but I am not ready at all. We have had an awesome summer full of trips and fun times with family and friends. We began our summer with our trip to Florida to Disney World and to see friends. It was the girls' first plane ride. They liked it, but said they don't want to go on a plane again until next year. Nicole lost her first tooth in Orlando, Florida and with her many questions, she found out that the Tooth Fairy is not real. But we still took her tooth and put money under her pillow! This trip was also the first time the girls had been to the beach. They LOVED the beach. We got a little sun burnt, but it was still great! We got back from Florida and had an awesome week at VBS. And then we were off onto our next adventure to Branson, Missouri with some friends. We stayed in a cabin together and went to Silver Dollar City, Ripley's Believe It or Not, The Titanic Exhibit, and the Fish Hatchery. And Nicole lost her second tooth at Silver Dollar City. We got back from Branson just in time to celebrate the 4th of July with family and friends! It is always super fun to blow stuff up. I then celebrated my 31st birthday with family and friends. I can't believe how fast time is flying by theses days. On top of loosing all these teeth, Nicole ended up fracturing her wrist. She was running through the house and slipped and fell funny on her wrist and buckle fractured it. Dr. P said it should be better in 3 weeks, so she will have to wear a brace on her wrist the first couple days of school. Then for our last little hoora, we are going to Kansas City to stay at The Great Wolf Lodge. My girls LOVE The Great Wolf Lodge, we are all super excited. We plan to get a TON of school clothes shopping done there at the Legends shopping center, which I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! Then we will be back in time to get all of their school supplies labeled and get their first day of school outfits washed and ready to wear. These fun summers of much togetherness will soon come to and end, so I cherish these summers and days that I have with my children before they get older and their lives get busier.
